Storm Damage – Keene Condominium

Storm damage struck this Keene condominium structure when the garage and storage unit area was flooded by a tremendous thunderstorm. SERVPRO of Cheshire County was contacted to provide water clean up services to remove the damage from the storm. WE used hand held pumps and sump pumps to clean up the standing water. The concrete which was the material used in the flooring of the garage and storage units absorbs a lot of moisture. We needed to dry the concrete surfaces. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to speed up the drying process which took several days. We monitored the extent of moisture retention with high tech moisture content meters which let us know when the drying was complete. This information is always provided to the insurance adjuster on the project.
