The Community Kitchen-2021 Thanksgiving Pantry

Earlier this week, SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owner, Derek Paul, assisted the incredible staff at The Community Kitchen in Keene, NH for this year's Thanksgiving Pantry! It is amazing the amount of planning and organizing the TCK Staff puts forth for this event! The two-day effort provided food distribution for over 300 local families! Magnificent work The Community Kitchen!

2021 CVBR Backpack Drive & Summer Outing!

Earlier this week, the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors, along with their affiliates, held their annual Backpack/School Supply Drive and Summer Outing! New Realtors were inducted into the board, backpacks, school supplies and donations were collected, and good times were had by all! Donations will be distributed to Jaffrey-Rindge, Peterborough, Wilton-Lyndeborough, and Mascenic School Districts. SERVPRO of Cheshire County are proud affiliate members of CVBR!

Rebels Little League "Fun Day!"

PLAY BALL! Recently, SERVPRO of Cheshire County attended the first every "Fun Day" for the Keene Rebels Little League Baseball Program at Hubbard Baseball Complex in Walpole this past Saturday. Team sponsors were invited to attend the event which featured a parade of all the teams, team intros, a thank you to all volunteers and contributors, team photos, ceremonial first pitches, appearance from Keene Mayor George Hansel and even a flyover! SERVPRO of Cheshire County is a proud sponsor and supporter of local youth sports programs. Have a great season Keene Rebels Little League!

Delivering SERVPRO Vol. Fire Dept. Cornhole Benefit Proceeds!

Over the past week, we have had the opportunity to meet with four local Volunteer Fire Departments to deliver proceeds from our successful Cornhole Benefit. We met with members from Westmoreland Fire & Rescue, Chesterfield Fire & Rescue, Swanzey Firefighter's Association and Walpole Firefighter's Auxiliary. We are beyond pleased with the success of our April 24th benefit and are excited at the possibility of another event next year. Thank you to all the volunteer firefighters for keeping our communities safe and thank you to all the local businesses who contributed and helped make this event successful! See you all next year!

First Annual SERVPRO Volunteer Fire Department Cornhole Benefit

Last year was very challenging for everyone and we wanted to create an event that was positive, focused on our local community and emphasized an appreciation for first responders. We believe that this event accomplished exactly that. What an amazing evening!

The event consisted of 29 teams who competed in the Cornhole Tournament along with many attendees who participated in the event by partaking in the incredible prize raffle, food truck and enjoying the company of others. The prize raffle was amazing and created quite the buzz throughout the night. We could not be more appreciative of the overwhelming support from so many local businesses and community members.

We would like to give very special thanks to all of the event raffle contributors, Games2Go, The Fieldhouse at Homestead Mills, and everyone who came out to support our local volunteer fire departments. Congrats to Kevin and Brandon on winning the inaugural event!

Lastly, thank you to our local first responders for all you do to keep our communities safe. We appreciate your service to our cities and towns. Thank you!

Golf Outing to Benefit Keene Community Kitchen

Franklin Pierce University Rocky Classic

SERVPRO of Cheshire County had the privilege of participating in this year's Franklin Pierce University Rocky Classic Golf Tournament. Also a proud sponsor of this event, SERVPRO of Cheshire County players enjoyed the beautiful Summer day on the course with the other competitors.

MRBR Glow Ball-2020

The Monadnock Region Board of Realtors recently held their annual Glow Ball Event to benefit the Student Scholarship Fund for Fall Mountain, Monadnock, Keene and Hinsdale High Schools. SERVPRO of Cheshire County was a proud sponsor of the event and even participated! This year's event was a blast and once again was a very successful benefit for the Student Scholarship Fund!

Fire Department Appreciation

SERVPRO of Cheshire County recently visited several local fire departments to show their appreciation for these first responders and their service to our community. SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owner Derek Paul can be seen here delivering pizzas for the crews on shift in Keene, Peterborough and Claremont, NH. Thank you for all you do!

Red Cap Run - 2020

SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owner Derek Paul took to the road and trail Saturday to participate in the 6th Annual Red Cap Run 2020! The event took place in beautiful Keene, NH and proceeds benefited the Melendy Family. The conditions were frigid and icy, but hundreds of runners came out in support of this great cause. Derek did not take home any medals but finished strong!

On Tuesday, December 10th our own Derek Paul enjoyed attending the Annual Holiday Social for the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors. This year’s celebration was at the Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey. What a great year it has been!

2nd Annual Keene Festival of Trees- Bidding Night

Had a wonderful time participating in the 2nd Annual Keene Festival of Trees on Thursday, December 5th! Thank you, Mascoma Bank, for organizing this fun way to kick off the Christmas season and help our community. All proceeds this year benefited RISE for Baby and Family, providing support and service to infants, toddlers, and their families in the Monadnock Region since 1981. Proceeds totaled an incredible $6205!

Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at NBT Bank

It was a pleasure joining fellow members of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce in welcoming NBT Bank to their new and updated office located at the Colony Mill Marketplace on West Street in Keene! The historic Colony Mill has been beautifully renovated by Brady Sullivan Properties and now features 89 exquisite modern apartments. Thank you to NBT Bank for a great job hosting and also thank you to CC&D’s Kitchen- the food was delicious as always!

NHMA Fall Conference & Trade Show

On November 13th and 14th Derek and Andrea attended the 78th Annual New Hampshire Municipal Association (NHMA) Fall Conference & Trade Show at the Manchester Downtown Hotel in Manchester, NH. Our team was joined by friends from neighboring SERVPRO franchises of the North-East. We couldn’t have been happier with the turnout and are so pleased that we were able to attend again this year. Had a great time decorating our tree at Mascoma Bank’s 2nd Annual Keene Festival of Trees on Tuesday! Our tree’s theme was “Owl Be Home For Christmas!”

Keene Housing Kids Collaborative 4th Annual Benefit Breakfast

On Friday, November 8th Derek had the honor of attending the Keene Housing Kids Collaborative 4^th Annual Benefit Breakfast at Keene State College. Keene Housing Kids Collaborative (KHKC) is a non-profit organization which serves kids living in housing owned or managed by Keene Housing. Through KHKC, local kids have access to explore terrific opportunities and fun new experiences within their community while establishing strong building blocks for bright futures. Thank you KHKC for all that you do for our community!

If you were driving along Route 12 in Westmoreland, NH yesterday, you may have seen SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owner Derek Paul with a few of our technicians cleaning up along the side of the highway. A few months ago we decided to participate in the NHDOT Sponsor-A-Highway Program by adopting a stretch of highway a stone’s throw from our home base in Westmoreland. Yesterday was the perfect day to get a cleanup in before winter weather comes to town. A huge thank you to our amazing cleanup crew- Derek, Adam, Ryan, Wil and Joe! Awesome job guys!

Trunk or Treat - 2019

On Monday, October 28th we had the thrill of participating in our very first Trunk or Treat with Northern Lights Athletics right by their space on Marlboro Street in Keene, NH! We loved seeing fellow local companies in the spirit of Halloween and were amazed by the turnout and creativity! Already looking forward to next year’s Trunk or Treat festivities!

New Hampshire Adjusters Association Fall 2019 Trade Show

Recently our Marketing Manager Andrea Thompson participated in the New Hampshire Adjusters Association alongside friends from neighboring SERVPRO franchises of the North-East. It was a great opportunity for networking and catching up with friends from local companies we commonly work with. The trade show was at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester, NH.

Free CE Course- Ethics 2019

Photo taken just before attendees arrived for our CE Class on September 18th. This year we provided a free 3 hour course on ethics at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Keene, NH. We were happy this year with the great level of participation in our group of 16 insurance professionals! Radically Rural - CONNECT 2019

SERVPRO's own Co-Owner and Marketing Director Derek Paul, along with his wife Amanda Schwersky Paul attended last nights "CONNECT 2019" networking event at Keene State College's Mable Brown Room as part of this year's Radically Rural Summit. The CONNECT Event was a great opportunity for local community members to celebrate the advantages of living and being an active participant in the area's rural landscape. The event hosted several hundred representatives of local businesses, schools and other organizations. A shout out to Eat More Cake, Machina Kitchen & Art Bar and CC&D's Kitchen Market for catering the event!

Glow Ball 2019

Our marketing team had a blast on Thursday, September 12th at the annual Monadnock Region Board of Realtors’ Glow Ball fundraiser at Twinkletown in Swanzey! Together, REALTORS and affiliates of MRBR raised $2900 for area high schools to help fund scholarships and support area high school project graduations. Proud to sponsor and participate in this event every year! It’s a fun way to kick off the fall season!

CVBR Summer Outing & Backpack Drive 2019

We had a great time at the Contoocook Valley Board of REALTORS and Affiliates Annual Summer Outing at the MacDowell Lake Overlook Shelter in Peterborough on Wednesday! At this event, we celebrated our Summer Long Backpack Drive and divvied up school supply items to be donated to local schools throughout the Contoocook Valley Area. This year we enjoyed delicious pizza and salad provided by Little Zoe's Woodfired Pizza! We are proud to have helped again this year with the success of this fun outing and with supporting our local schools!

Summer BBQ at F. W. Webb in Keene, NH

What a great day Friday, July 19th was for a BBQ! Thank you all who attended our cookout at F. W. Webb on Winchester Street in Keene, NH! We love doing things like this within our community to give back and show our appreciation. We couldn’t have been happier with how many local contractors came by to say hi and grab a hot dog or hamburger! A huge thank you also to the awesome team at F. W. Webb for having us! 

4th Annual Keene Firefighters Golf Tournament - 2019

Happy to be at the 4th Annual Firefighters Golf Tournament on June 14th at the Keene Country Club! SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owners Derek Paul and Ryan Paul enjoyed their day playing on the green with Kirke Parsons of AGM Landscaping and Nick Hill of Hill Family Insurance. Our Marketing Manager Andrea Thompson manned our tent which was stock full of cold water and sunflower seeds for everyone. A fun day was had by all!

Covered Bridges Half Marathon- 2019

On Sunday, June 2nd, we helped at this year's Covered Bridges Half Marathon near the finish line at Dewey Polo Field, Quechee, VT. Derek Paul, Amanda Paul, Andrea Thompson and Laura Michelewicz cheered on runners and helped direct traffic to keep the course safe. This scenic race kicks off at the Suicide Six Ski Area and takes runners by some of Vermont's beautiful covered bridges. This event also supports multiple local charities! We were happy to help this year and are glad, especially for those running, that the weather cooperated! Congratulations to all who completed this race! Bulldog 4 Fun Run/Walk 2019

On Saturday, May 18th, we provided a water station at the annual Bulldog 4 Fun Run/Walk which serves as a fundraiser for the Westmoreland PTA. We were proud to also be a sponsor this year!

Italian Dinner at Upper Valley Haven

On Thursday, May 2nd, we cooked up some Italian Dinner for residents at Upper Valley Haven, a community center in White River Junction, VT. The dinner served over 20 residents with plenty of leftovers for the residents to enjoy for lunch! The community center provides numerous resources for locals. The center's Food Shelf and Good Eats Programs provide visitors with healthy groceries and recipes. There are also services for children including an after school program for school aged children who are current and former shelter guests. It was so great that Upper Valley Haven welcomed us into their kitchen! We enjoyed our visit! Walk A Mile In Her Shoes- 2019

On Saturday, April 27th we participated in this year's Walk A Mile In Her Shoes in Keene, NH! This event benefits the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention and helps raise awareness and eliminate domestic violence. We were proud to be part of the top fundraising team- The Monadnock Region Board of Realtors team "The Ravishing Realtors!" Together our team raised over $9,000 and the event raised over $22,000! Green Up Keene

On Saturday, April 20th, the day after we participated in Green Up Peterborough, our Marketing Team braved the rain with the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors to help in this year's Green Up Keene!

NH is a beautiful state and it's painful how much litter there is. A little bit of time and effort goes a long way and you can always make a difference in improving the environment.

This event which is brought to you by the Monadnock Rugby Club raises funds for the Norris Cotton- Kingsbury Pavilion Cancer Treatment Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Keene, NH. Our very own Derek Paul sacrificed his beard in support of this event. We were amazed by the level of participation in our community for this year's Shave to Save and were glad to be a part of it!

Shave to Save 2019

This great event raises funds for the Norris Cotton- Kingsbury Pavilion Cancer Treatment Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Keene, NH. The Monadnock Wolfpack Rugby Team has set a goal of $4,000 and every little bit helps. Our team is hoping to raise $500 to help them reach their goal. Depending on fund raising results, rugby team members and our own Derek Paul may either shave or save their beards. The campaign ends January 19th at 1pm at The Barbery in beautiful Keene, NH.

MRBR Holiday Party 2018

We enjoyed attending the Holiday Party for the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors (MRBR) on December 20th for an end of the year celebration at Papagallos Italian Restaurant on the border of Keene and Swanzey, NH. It was a great way to round out 2018 with a chance to donate to two great causes: Hundred Nights and Toys for Tots. We are proud to be a part of MRBR and look forward to 2019!

Keene Chamber Holiday Party 2018

We had a lot of fun at the Keene Chamber Holiday Party on December 19th! One of the festivities was a gingerbread house making contest. The rules were simple: folks could choose to participate by forming a team with other affiliates and whichever house received the most votes won! This year, we were part of the winning team!

The Community Kitchen December Holiday Pantry

It was a fun and rewarding experience on Thursday, December 20th volunteering for The Community Kitchen's December Holiday Pantry. Did you know that The Community Kitchen helps feed an average of 1300 people per week?! We were fortunate to be able to do a quick interview with Phoebe Bray, The Community Kitchen’s Executive Director! Thank you Phoebe and all at The Community Kitchen for everything you do for our community! Happy Holidays folks!

2018 Holiday Food Drive

We just finished our annual Holiday Food Drive. Due to the wonderful support and participation we received this year, we were able to raise a total of 1201 pounds of non-perishable food which was donated to the Vermont and New Hampshire Food Banks. Thank you to everyone who participated!

2018 Salvation Army Bell Ringing

On Friday, December 7th, SERVPRO of Cheshire County were among other affiliates of the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors helping the Salvation Army with a little bell ringing!

NHMA Conference 2018

On Wednesday and Thursday November 14^th and 15^th, the Marketing Team for SERVPRO of Cheshire County were exhibitors alongside SERVPRO of The Lakes Region and SERVPRO of Manchester at the New Hampshire Municipal Association Conference (NHMA). The event served as a great opportunity for networking for the exhibitors as well as the municipal officials and employees who would visit the exhibits between class breaks. SERVPRO of Cheshire County has a rich history of working with municipalities so it was good to see familiar faces and meet some new folks. Many exhibitors offered a raffle, SERVPRO’s raffle prize was a half-gallon of maple syrup. There was a great turnout on both days and SERVPRO was happy to be there!

2018 Festival of Trees

SERVPRO of Cheshire County and SERVPRO of Windham & Windsor Counties was happy to participate at the Festival of Trees at Mascoma Bank in Keene, NH on November 15th. Local businesses brought and decorated their own artificial tree to be given to local families in need. It was a fun event to be a part of and it’s a really nice way to brighten the holiday season for others.

Food Drive 2018

It’s that time of year again! SERVPRO of Cheshire County and SERVPRO of Windham & Windsor Counties will be running the 5^th annual Holiday Food Drive. This food drive is a collaborative effort between local businesses to benefit the New Hampshire and Vermont food banks. SERVPRO of Cheshire County and SERVPRO of Windham & Windsor Counties will be distributing boxes on 11/19 to all participating local businesses and then picking them up again on 12/10 to donate the goods. Last year we collected nearly 800 pounds of food! This year we have set a goal of 1,000 pounds or more. If any local businesses seeing this post would like to participate please let us know and we will bring a box to your business. All you have to do is fill the box with non-perishable food for us to pick up and donate. Thank you and happy holidays from SERVPRO!

Keene Battle of the Badges

Saturday, October 27^th was the annual Keene, NH Battle of the Badges where the Keene Police and Fire Departments face off in a game of hockey. The game took place at the Keene Ice Arena on Marlboro Street. The event benefited the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities. Cedarcrest helps provide care and services to children with developmental and complex medical issues and also serves as a support network for the children’s families. SERVPRO was among the list of proud sponsors for the event.

The Keene Police Department were this year’s winners, defeating the Fire Department 5-1.

This great community event raised over $10,000 for Cedarcrest!

Fire Safety

This morning, Westmoreland Fire Department's Fire Lieutenant, Chris DeLaVergne gave a presentation on Fire Safety to the SERVPRO of Cheshire County team. The presentation went over the importance of how to deal with different types of fires and how to react in a fire emergency at home or at work. A couple quick tips mentioned during the presentation were:

• Know your different types of fires and how to put them out. For example, it is important to know that pouring water on a grease fire will likely make the fire worse. A recommended solution is to spread baking soda over the fire and try to smother it.
• Have fire extinguishers readily available in case of a fire emergency and also have an evacuation route and meeting spot in place.

SERVPRO Volunteers at the 2018 DeMar Marathon

September 30 was a beautiful day for the DeMar Marathon.  SERVPRO of Chesire County volunteered along with members of the Keene Community Kitchen and local area students with running a water station at mile 16.   This marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.   

SERVPRO also participated in the event.  Amanda Paul completed her first ever full marathon.  Congratulations, Amanda!

Annual Walpole Fireman’s Auxiliary Golf Tournament

This event was the Annual Walpole Fireman’s Auxiliary Golf Tournament at Hooper Golf Course in Walpole, NH. SERVPRO of Cheshire County was once again a marquee sponsor this year. This is the group's big fundraiser for the year and we were once again a feature sponsor of the event. Our SERVPRO team took home third place overall and we enjoyed a beautiful day out on the course followed by a delicious lunch at the Walpole Fire Department. This event is always a fun time and all the members of the local Fire Departments are very generous and make the day a blast for everyone.

Monadnock Region Board of Realtors Glow Ball

SERVPRO of Cheshire County sponsored and participated in the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors Glow Ball event at Twinkle Town Miniature Golf Course in Swanzey, NH. This event was very well attended and was a consider successful by all. The event raises money with all proceeds going towards local school scholarships. Our team came in with the best score!

Backpack Drive for the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors

Team SERVPRO of Cheshire County has joined forces, for several years now, with realtors, affiliate members of the board and other local businesses from Peterborough, Jaffrey, Rindge and the surrounding areas to collect backpacks and school supplies to be donated to less fortunate students in the surrounding schools. The drive culminated with a cookout at the McDowell Dam in Peterborough, NH where all the donations were collected. We helped to deliver school supplies to the local schools the day after the cookout.

Keene Chamber Golf Outing

Our team at SERVPRO of Cheshire County was a sponsor at the Keene Chamber Golf Outing. We had a blast and enjoyed chatting with participants about SERVPRO. We are big supporters of our community!

Continuing Education Class On Ethics

Our team at SERVPRO of Cheshire County will be hosting a continuing education class on Monday, September 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Best Western Plus located at Keene 401 Winchester St. Keene, NH 03431. This course is available for insurance agents and adjusters in VT, NH, and MA. The topic of this course will be Ethics.

The Keene Fireman's Golf Outing

Our team was a sponsor at the Keene Fireman’s Golf Outing which was held at Keene Country Club in Keene, NH. We had our tent on the 12th Tee Box and also fielded a team. We won the event for the 3rd year in a row! We had a blast and raised a lot of money. Our team at SERVPRO is a big supporter of local charities.

Every year the Westmoreland PTA organizes a 4-mile run/walk to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise funds for the school.  SERVPRO volunteered to assist this year handing out refreshments to the participants.

Keeping Keene Green Event

Monadnock Region Board of Realtors Recognizes SERVPRO of Cheshire County for a Job Well Done

In this photo, Derek Paul is representing SERVPRO of Cheshire County at the Monadnock Board of Realtors Meeting to receive an award, being presented Josh Greenwald, President.  Mr. Greenwald was showing a vacant commercial space and discovered water damage from a broken pipe. The water had been running at high volume for as long as two weeks and there was a tremendous amount of water. Josh called in SERVPRO of Cheshire County who arrived on site immediately and began work to save the day.

Friends of Chesterfield School Fun Run

Our team spent May 5th handing out water at this year's Friends of Chesterfield School Fun Run. There was a great turn out with about 200 people running, walking, or cheering. The proceeds will be used for a variety of purposes including the sponsorship of art and cultural programs, subsidizing the cost of field trips, supplemental academic materials purchases, and awarding annual scholarships for Chesterfield School. We love volunteering for great events such as this one and we enjoy connecting with our community.

March Contest Winner

Congratulations to Meghann Galley (right), from Ludlow Insurance, for winning this month's contest! She has won a $50 gift card to a restaurant of her choosing. Meghann read the article and answered the question correctly to win. The contest was a great way for us to educate the public about property damage and restoration. Our very own Marketing Representative, Andrea Thompson (left) got the honor of delivering the prize.

We are proud to be associated with the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve which is an outreach agency of the Department of Defense. We recognize the need to welcome back troops from abroad, and those that serve us at home in the Guard and Reserve, and offer opportunities for employment and support. The ESGR community-based network of over 4500 volunteers in all the 50 states and Territories recognize the efforts and sacrifices made, and we wish to give back to them our heartfelt support. Westmoreland Fire Department Care Kits

Our Marketing Representative recently visited the Westmoreland Fire Department to drop off some of our “Care Kits.” These kits are given out to homeowners or tenants who have experienced a fire and need to be relocated due to the fire damage. They are filled with personal hygiene products such as soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, shampoo, and Kleenex. These are handed out by the fire department to save them a trip to the grocery store, so it's one less thing for them to worry about during a very stressful time. Monadnock Region BOR Recognizes SERVPRO Team

Our SERVPRO of Cheshire County team was recognized at the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors for a restoration job we did at a vacated Dentist's office. A water pipe broke causing substantial damage which required demolition, cleaning, drying, and sanitization. Realtor board president Josh Greenwald (pictured with Franchise owner Derek Paul) called us in for assistance, and we went to work. We cannot thank the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors enough for the Certificate of Appreciation. We are extremely grateful! 

Keene Community Kitchen

Our co-owner Derek Paul and SMR Andrea Thompson got into the holiday spirit by volunteering at Keene Community Kitchen for day 1 of Christmas Holiday Distribution. They are assisting in distributing food and transporting food out to vehicles. The Keene Community Kitchen Executive Director and staff were pleased to have their help. Our family at SERVPRO is dedicated to supporting our local community and charities.

Annual Food Drive 2017 Number 3 and Counting

This marks the third year that our SERVPRO of Cheshire County franchise has spearheaded a Food Drive during this Festive Season of giving. Our many trading partners from the fields of plumbing/ heating contractors, real estate agencies, and insurance offices have grown yearly providing more for those less fortunate than us. Our team dropped off empty cartons on "Box Distribution Day," and some days later we then dispatched our Green Fleet to pick them up ladened with foodstuffs. The generosity was amazing and we all felt-humbled and honored to transport these gifts from the heart to our local Food Banks in VT and NH. Have a Happy Holiday.

2017 Monadnock Pumpkin Festival

SERVPRO of Cheshire County was an event sponsor at this year's Monadnock Pumpkin Festival in Swanzey, NH. Our crew worked together to carve some pumpkins to also donate to the event. The festival included food vendors, wagon hay rides, live music, games, touch-a-truck event, jack-o-lanterns, carnival rides, and ended with an awesome firework show. We are proud to support local events in our community!

Clarence DeMar Marathon

Some of our team represented SERVPRO of Cheshire County at the Clarence DeMar Marathon. We were at mile marker 17 managing the water station handing out water and Gatorade. We were joined by members from the Keene Community Kitchen as well. Our station was located right next to the gorgeous Keene Family YMCA. It was a hot day, and our team at SERVPRO did our best to keep the runners hydrated and motivated. We are happy to take part in such a great event and show our support to the community!

Monadnock Wolfpack Rugby Club

Backpack Drive

SERVPRO of Cheshire County is teaming with the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors for this year’s Backpack Drive. We are collecting school supplies and backpacks to schools in the Contoocook Valley Area for children in need. The event concludes August 9th. Keene Chamber of Commerce Night July Event

SERVPRO of Cheshire County once again participated in this year's Green Up Keene Citywide effort to rid litter from the city streets and roads. The SERVPRO Cheshire County, Windham & Windsor Counties 2016 Food Drive has officially kicked off! This year we have partnered with 27 other businesses collectively to gather and donate boxed and canned good for New Hampshire and Vermont Food Banks.

Lempster Fire Department "Care Kits"

SERVPRO of Cheshire County, Windham & Windsor Counties had the opportunity to meet with members of the Lempster Fire Department and the Lempster Ladies Auxiliary at there facility. Bellows Falls Fire-"Care Kits"

SERVPRO Cheshire County, Windham & Windsor Counties Derek Paul met with Bellows Falls Deputy Fire Chief Steve Cenate as he delivered a box of our "Care Kits". These kits contain personal hygiene products for fire victims that are displaced from their homes. 2016 Clarence DeMar Marathon-Keene, NH

SERVPRO of Cheshire County, Windham & Windsor Counties Derek Paul had a great time working with friends from The Keene Community Kitchen handing out water and gatorade at mile 17 of the 39th running of the Clarence DeMar Marathon. Congratulations to all who participated including Derek's wife Amanda who completed the half marathon.

Brattleboro Reformer Christmas Stocking 2014

Julie Bowen and Jordan Brechenser, Ad Director for the Brattleboro Reformer. SERVPRO of Keene made a visit to the Brattleboro Reformer to make a cash donation and learn more about the annual Reformer Christmas Stocking campaign. Each year the Stocking uses donated funds to purchase warm winter coats, boots, hats, mittens and snowpants for approximately 1,500 local children whose families are in need of assistance.

Toys For Tots Contribution

To celebrate the kid in all of us this holiday season SERVPRO of Keene donated a box full of toys to be distributed to the less fortunate children in the community. SERVPRO of Keene contributed these items to a Toys For Tots Drive being organized by a local industry partner.

David's House Donation 2014

SERVPRO of Keene recently paid a visit to David's House at Dartmouth Medical Center. SERVPRO of Keene donated items from David's House Wish List that included items needed to maintain this beautiful facility. David's House provides a home-away-from-home and support for families with children receiving treatment through the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth.

Summer Outing in Peterborough

The Contoocook Valley Board of REALTORS and their affiliates held their annual Summer Outing in Peterborough NH last evening at the MacDowell Lake.  This event is the culmination of the groups summer long Back Pack Drive througout the community. Collected backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to educational facilities throughout the area. SERVPRO Cheshire County, Windham & Windsor Counties is a proud affiliate member of the board and their own Derek Paul was pleased to play the roll of Grill Master at this year's event!

Back Pack and School Supply Drive

The Contoocook Valley Board of REALTORS and their affiliates completed another successful Back Pack and School Supply Drive and today they were delivered to several schools and SAU buildings around the Contoocook Valley. Derek Paul of SERVPRO Cheshire County, Windham & Windham Counties had the privilege of delivering the goods this morning, but it took a big effort from a lot of good people.
