Basement Water Damage

If we could predict when an emergency was going to occur, the world would be a much simpler place. We could prevent fires from starting, crimes from taking place and pipes from bursting. We cannot, of course, see into the future so we will never know when an emergency is about to take place. A disaster has no concept of time which means they happen at all hours of the day. In this particular case, frozen pipes burst in the middle of the night when the building owners were away. The water ran for at least 24 hours before it was discovered. Water spread throughout the first floor and found its way throughout the finished basement. Damaged drywall, insulation and other building materials were removed, salvageable materials were cleaned and more importantly dried using state of the art drying equipment.
