Residential Fire Damage in Southwestern, NH
SERVPRO of Cheshire County was contacted to perform emergency fire restoration services at this home in Southwestern New Hampshire. The home was originally built in the 1700's and the fire took place in an addition to the home. The fire ignited as a result of sunlight passing through an apparatus which held a large magnifying glass used in the first level workshop of the home. The fire caused charring to the wood beams and soot traveled throughout the home as a result. Additionally, large amounts of fire extinguisher dust spread throughout the area when the fire was put out. SERVPRO of Cheshire County used dry and wet cleaning methods to mitigate and deodorize the soot damage. HEPA filtered vacuums were also used to remove the fire extinguisher residue.
