As mentioned in an earlier blog post, the technology around emergency restoration is ever evolving. Equipment and products are constantly being improved for optimum effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, cleaning and restoration techniques and procedures are also consistently being updated and advanced.

In order to ensure our technicians are current with industry cleaning and restoration standards and procedures, SERVPRO of Cheshire County provides in depth and detailed training for their technicians, project managers and team leaders. In addition to hand-on training, staff members attend classroom educational training in specific areas, to obtain certification from the non-profit certifying body of the cleaning and restoration industry, IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). Employees hold credentials in areas such as water restorations, fire & smoke restoration, applied microbial remediation, and trauma and crime scene restoration.
