On September 18th, Derek attended the New Hampshire Health Care Association's Fall Conference and Trade Show at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown! This was a great day of networking and catching up with friends! The day started out pretty gloomy but blue skies greeted us Friday afternoon while we were at the Vermont Claims Association Golf Classic at Sugarbush Resort in Warren, VT! SERVPRO of Cheshire County Co-Owners Derek Paul and Ryan Paul teamed up with Grant Adjustment Agency's Sean Burke. Together they won 2nd place in the tournament!

During the tournament, our Marketing Representative Laura Michelewicz provided cold bottled water and sunflower seeds at the 5th Hole for all participants.

Great job to all who participated in this fun event!

It was fun being a part of the 40th Annual Quechee Balloon Festival over Father's Day weekend! Saturday, June 15th was a gorgeous day to be outside and we enjoyed volunteering at the front gate. Derek, Andrea and Laura welcomed folks and provided them with wristbands or a hot air balloon shaped stamp for the kiddos. We were also proud to be one of the sponsors for this yearly event. We hope you all had a great weekend!

• SERVPRO of Cheshire County and SERVPRO of Windham & Windsor Counties had the opportunity to meet with members of The Richards Group Commercial Lines Department in Brattleboro.  Derek Paul, presented to commercial lines account managers and discussed the challenges when responding to a new fire or water emergency, important information to gather, safety considerations and important tips to consider until a restoration professional arrives on site. Derek Paul also discussed other types of emergencies they may experience. SERVPRO would like to thank The Richards Group for the opportunity!

A water main break caused substantial damage throughout the majority of a local elementary school. SERVPRO of Cheshire County sent a team of technicians to the scene within the hour to begin remediation and dry out.

SERVPRO of Cheshire County was contacted by Retail Construction Services out of Lake Elmo, MN. They travel around the country and work in retail spaces when they need a remodel or "fit up". In this case the job SERVPRO of Cheshire County just completed was in the Keene, N.H. JCPenney store for the Sephora Beauty Station. SERVPRO spent 2 full days doing a complete post construction cleaning of all the glass displays, shelving units, cabinets, lighting, ceiling tile grid and floors. This was the first phase of 4-5 renovations in the store. SERVPRO of Cheshire County will be returning to do the other phases.

SERVPRO of Cheshire County, NH and Windham & Windsor Counties, VT was called by local trucking company to clean and prep the ceilings, metal beams, pipes and conduit in their trucking terminal so that a painting company could come in and paint everything white. Over the years dust and soot had settled on all of these surfaces. Our team of expert cleaning professionals had to vacuum and hand wash all surfaces using tall ladders and scissor lifts. This project took about two weeks to complete. The terminal now looks much brighter after the thorough cleaning and the fresh new paint job!
